LLD Staff

Alice Martin Alice Martin Alice Martin has worked at San Jose State since 1982, starting out at the Computer Center, then working nine years in a split position in LLD and Theatre Arts. She is currently the Administrative Support Coordinator (Office Goddess) in LLD. She is an avid reader of books, which can be observed as she walks to and from work and around campus reading. Her other hobbies include hula, Hawaiian culture, and gardening.
John Leih John Leih John Leih has been the Coordinator of the Language Development Center since 2003. In this role he supervises the two-unit Academic English I tutorial and the one-unit Tutorial for Successful Writing course. Beginning in the fall semester of 2006, he will be the instructor of record for the LLD 182 Tutorial Practicum course, which trains LLD graduate students to deliver the LDC curriculum to more than 600 first-year SJSU students. John is an avid student of languages and music. He is fluent in Spanish and endeavors to expand this knowledge to other romance languages such as Catalan, Italian, and Portuguese.
Roffna Principe Roffna Principe Roffna is an Art major, with a planned graduation date of 2006. She speaks Tagalog and Italian, as well as English. She is the Administrative Assistant in the LLD department office.
